Tasya Rivera Martin graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut in 2003 with a certificate in Health Law. She was president of the Women's Law Society and received an award of excellence for her work in the university's Health Law Clinic. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Winona State University in 2000.
After law school, she spent a year clerking for a Superior Court Family Judge in Bridgeport, Connecticut and another year practicing family law with Amendola & Amendola in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Martin joined M. Sue Wilson Law Offices, P.A. as an associate attorney in May 2006.
Martin is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, District of Columbia and Minnesota. She is a past member of the Connecticut Bar Association and a present member of the American Bar Association as well as the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Tasya was born and raised in Minnesota. She experienced a new part of the country during law school and enjoyed living in the state of Connecticut for nearly six years. Martin decided to come back to the Midwest and now resides in Richfield with her husband and two children. She is an avid runner and enjoys training for marathons.
